Task information:

• You are a Software Engineer that focusses on Quality Automation and you represent the Quality Community of Practice within your Engineering Team 
• You are part of an agile development team, the 12 principles of the “agile manifesto” guide you during SaaS components development 
• You are equally comfortable writing software as well as testing  
• Ensure that all deliverables meet the quality and performance standards defined by the engineering organization through teamwork, coaching, and prioritizing quality 
• Ensure that quality is not the work of an individual, but the entire team 
• Strategize test automation with the roadmap and work with your team to implement testing frameworks to validate functional and non-functional requirements 
• During the feature and component development process you ensure your team delivers stable and well-structured test scripts alongside the service’s code 
• Participate in planning sessions and make sure that new components are testable by automation 
• Supervise Quality standards during the entire development process and influence architectural and design decisions 
• Evangelize software testing best practices to assure that automated test executions remain stable and efficient 
• Setup self-generated reports to inform stakeholders about quality related queries on a regular basis and suggest process related improvement opportunities 
• Interact with SDETs and other quality assurance specialists of internal and external teams to validate the integration of components and services 
• With your team you address complex problems and lead testing related problem solving initiatives 

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field required 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum C1 / C2 desired) 
• 3+ years of programming experience using .NET and C# 
• 3+ years of experience in ATDD, TDD and BDD and data driven testing with tools like Selenium, Cucumber, etc. 
• In your career you had been member of an agile team for several years (Scrum, SAFe, XP) and you live and breathe DevOps culture 
• Hands-on experience in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure) and testing applications on cloud platforms 
• Significant hands-on experience in test automation tools usage (UI-Test automation, integration testing, stress- and load testing) 
• Team player and open for new challenges 
• Experience in working in an engineering environment using Jenkins, Git and Jira or similar tools
