Product Manager in Lithuania for RAPOOL and SAATEN-UNION

RAPOOL is a leading German seed company which has been successfully developing winter and spring oilseed rape varieties for 40 years and has subsidiaries for distribution throughout Europe. The basis of RAPOOL’s current outstanding market position and well-established customer relations in the Baltic States dates back to the early 1990’s. In addition to the RAPOOL brand, the Rapool Baltic team is responsible for marketing and commercialization of cereals, corn, and pulses of the SAATEN-UNION Group varieties to complete the seed portfolio for the agricultural market in the Baltic States.

For the Rapool Representation in the Baltic States we are looking for a Product Manager for RAPOOL and SAATEN-UNION in Lithuania with immediate effect. As Product Manager you will be responsible for evaluating and selecting products for the commercial portfolio and supporting the management by providing profound technical product and market information of Lithuania. You will ensure a professional product development for the enlargement of the commercial portfolio of the RAPOOL and SAATEN-UNION brand. In addition, you will support a wide range of marketing and promotional activities as well as the internal training of our team members and customer’s sales teams. All tasks are executed in close cooperation with our team of Rapool Baltic.

We expect a solid general agricultural education with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a major in the field of plant production. In addition, several years of experience in agricultural supply, preferably in the seed business, would be ideal. A structured and strategic approach to working, good analytical skills, and a professional interaction with local and international teams of the group are important to us. We are looking for a convincing personality with technical knowledge, entrepreneurial thinking, the ability to present effectively in front of an audience, and strong team spirit. Given the international interactions, we expect good communication skills in English. Skills of relevant software tools are a matter of course.

Performance-based salary of €3,500-4,500 gross (salary is negotiable depending on qualifications) and additional benefits commensurate with the position, including a company car. Rapool Baltic works trustfully with various customers in all three Baltic countries.
We have local offices in Jelgava (Latvia), in Tartu (Estonia) and our new main office is in Kaunas (Lithuania). Additionally, as our long-term clients are located in all parts of Lithuania, the candidates can live in any city of Lithuania. However, the candidate should be open and willing to travel in Lithuania and also for internal training and exchange across the Baltic States and be ready for a dynamic organizational life.
