Scrap Logistics Coordinator
Job description:
The Scrap Yard Operator is responsible for the independent operation and maintenance of the scrap yard area. This role includes managing scrap collection and shipments, preparing and maintaining required documentation, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards around scrap containers.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and coordinate the collection and shipment of scrap materials from the site

Receive scrap from production areas and ensure proper segregation and storage

Prepare, complete, and maintain all required documentation related to scrap handling and transportation

Cooperate with external transport and recycling companies

Ensure cleanliness, order, and safety in the scrap yard and around scrap containers

Monitor scrap container capacity and arrange timely pickups

Comply with company procedures, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards

Report irregularities or issues related to scrap management
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Lithuanian is required
- Additionally, good command of English or Polish (one of those languages is absolutely necessary)

Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities without supervision

Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Basic knowledge of documentation and record keeping

Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field is an advantage
- Knowledge of environmental documentation systems ( GPAIS) and international waste shipment regulation is obligatory
